Tennessee’s only AAA Five Diamond hotel offers special Valentine’s Day Package
NASHVILLE, TN, January 17, 2005 - To celebrate the most romantic day
of the year, The Hermitage Hotel is offering a special Valentine’s Day Package.
The Valentine’s Day Package is valid February 11 through February 14 and
includes deluxe accommodations, breakfast for two in The Capitol Grille or
through room service, complimentary valet parking, champagne, truffles and
chocolate-covered strawberries. Rates begin at $349 per night. The offer is
subject to availability, based on double occupancy and does not include taxes
and gratuities. The Hermitage can also arrange a massage treatment, a visit from
the hotel’s bath concierge, or a special dinner at its decorated restaurant, the
Capitol Grille.
The Hermitage Hotel is the only AAA Five Diamond Hotel in Tennessee, as well
as five of its contiguous states. After a recent $20 million restoration
project, The Hermitage features new amenities like DVD players in every room,
plus personalized storage trunks for frequent guests. Located across from the
state capitol, The Hermitage has 123 luxurious suites and rooms and was designed
in 1908 by J.E.R. Carpenter. The hotel opened in 1910 and features elegant
furnishings, including a beautiful skylight. The Hermitage Hotel is the only
remaining grand hotel in Nashville and the only commercial Beaux Arts structure
in the state of Tennessee. Listed on the National Register of Historic, The
Hermitage thoughtfully combines both convenience and splendor.
The AAA Five Diamond Award is not the only recognition The Hermitage Hotel
has received. The influential magazine, The Robb Report, declared the hotel as
one of the world’s “Best of the Best,” while the hotel has become the lodging
choice of many of entertainment industry’s biggest names, especially during the
recent CMA awards. The Hermitage’s location across from the state capitol
building has also ensured that its restaurant, The Capitol Grille, has become
the meeting spot for the politically powerful. Afternoon tea in the hotel’s
lobby has become a Nashville tradition for many, while the grand ballroom now
hosts the city’s most extravagant events and wedding receptions.
